About the artist: Born of French-Spanish heritage in 1929, George Michaud was a talented American artist. After completing his coursework at the renowned Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles, Michaud went on to create dozens of pieces of work and was awarded several accolades through local festivals and contests. Unfortunately, Michaud was tragically murdered at just 41 years old and was never able to realize the full potential of his talent.
